Indicators

Instructions on the status and descriptions of each indicator on the router.

Last updated 3 months ago

There are multiple indicators on both the front panel and back panel of the EZR26-5G router. These indicators are essential for visual diagnosis and real-time performance monitoring.

Front Green Panel – (White) Power / System / Mobile / WAN / Wi-Fi Back Grey Panel –– (Green) LAN1 / LAN2 / LAN3 / WAN / 2.5G LAN on each RJ45 port

Indicators
Status
Description and Diagnosis

Power

On / Off

This shows the router's power source. It turns on when the router receives DC power. When it is off, check the DC jack and power supply.

System

Flash

It flashes during booting up or when upgrading the firmware.

On

It holds solid white after successfully booting up.

Mobile

On

It indicates the mobile connection status. When the SIM card is connected to cellular networks, it remains solid white.

Off

It turns off when no SIM card is in the active SIM slot or fails to connect to the cellular network. Check the mobile signal quality, SIM card installation, and SIM's data allowance.

WAN

On & Flash

It stays solid white when the WAN port is connected and flashes when uplink data flows through an upward router.

Off

It turns off when an upstream router has no internet or fails to link to it. Check the WAN cable connection and the internet status of the upstream router.

WI-FI

On

It turns on when both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz hotspots are enabled, and at least one is in the "Master" mode.

Flash

It flashes when the 5.8GHz hotspot has data flows.

Off

It turns off when one or both Wi-Fi hotspots are disabled or neither is in Master mode.

If the System indicator cannot maintain a solid white light after powering up for more than 5 minutes, the input power may be too low. Please check the power supply or use another 12V 2A DC power adapter. Alternatively, the firmware might be stuck in brick mode, which requires rebuilding the system under the bootloader mode.

Back – RJ45 Indicators

The green color indicators of each RJ45 port on the back panel turn on when a wired link is established and flash when data is transmitted through the port.

If the RJ45 port is connected to a LAN cable but the indicator does not turn on, please check the power input on the router and terminal device. Then, troubleshoot the type of LAN cable used or try another LAN cable.
