# Power Supplies

## Power Up the Router <a href="#power-up" id="power-up"></a>

1. To ensure safe operation, use the original 12V/2A DC power adapter included with the 5G router.
2. Connect the power adapter to any standard 100-240V electrical AC outlet, then plug the DC jack into the router's DC power socket on the back panel.
3. The router will automatically power on when connected, with front panel LED indicators showing its operational status.

### Alternative Power

If you need to power the router with other power sources, ensure they provide stabilized 12Volt 2Amps DC power and include overvoltage and short circuit protections on the appropriate DC jack, Ø5.5 x 10mm with a Ø2.1mm inner pin.&#x20;

Higher voltages and currents can damage the router, and insufficient voltages and currents might not be able to power up the router or reduce the operating performance.
